Aaron Hernandez’s Cousin Indicted For Conspiracy To Commit Murder

Tanya Singleton, cousin of Aaron Hernandez, was placed behind bars on Monday afternoon. Singleton, 37, has been charged with conspiracy to assist in the murder Hernandez ordered.

Singleton plead not guilty in Fall River Superior court Monday to a charge of conspiring to become an accessory to the June 17 murder of Odin Lloyd.

The accused accessory to murder smiled several times during her arraignment and only addressed the court to say “not guilty.”

According to prosecutors Tanya drove Ernest Wallace, a friend of Hernandez, to Georgia on his way to Florida. They claim her vehicle broke down in Georgia and she purchased Wallace a bus ticket to complete his trip to Florida. Singleton lives in Bristol, Connecticut.

Prosecutors claim that Wallace and Carlos Ortiz were with Hernandez and Lloyd on the night Lloyd was killed. Last week Ortiz was indicted on a single charge of accessory to murder after the fact. Lloyd is due for a court appearance Oct. 18 and is expected to plea guilty.

Also indicted last week in the case is Shayanna Jenkins, Hernandez’s girlfriend and the mother of his child. Jenkins is charged with perjury after lying during her testimony on Aug. 13 and Aug. 15. Jenkins will appears in court Oct. 15 on that charge.

There are still many unanswered questions in the Aaron Hernandez murder lawsuit.

Tanya Singleton has already been under the microscope of the prosecution after she refused to testify before a grand jury which indicted Aaron Hernandez and Wallace.

For failing to testify Singleton has already been charged with criminal contempt.

Under terms of Monday’s indictment Tanya Singleton is being held without bail.

Do you think Tanya Singleton’s behavior during the murder trial indicated some type of guilt on her part?
