‘Law & Order: SVU’ Is Back, How Twitter Reacted

Law & Order, the police, legal drama is back and it’s better than ever because this time things are personal. And the Twitter-verse had plenty to say about what they saw on the premiere of Season 15.

The drama, picked up right where the previous season left off, with the abducted Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) being abused by the very creepy William Lewis (Pablo Schreiber).

Lewis is a rapist, murderer who got away somehow and found a way to get to Benson, literally, he got her right where he wanted her.

The two hour episode showed how he beats her, forces her to take large amounts of alcohol, and traumatizes her with his brutal teasing.

While Benson is trying desperately to stay alive and fight off Lewis, her colleagues are just as desperate to find her.

Hargitay did a superb job of showing the broken state in which her kidnapper left her, and she was able to fight back and survive the ordeal, but how will this change her?

We can almost bet that 100 percent of everyone who is a fan of the show agrees that this was Hargitay’s best performance yet.

Twitter, as always with these sort of big television events had a lot to say. Fans had plenty of opinions about Mariska Hargitay’s performance in the new episode of Law & Order: SVU, including co-star Pablo Schreiber. Watch.

Law & Order: SVU can be seen on Wednesdays on NBC.
