Did Anna Chlumsky look a little bored at the Emmy Awards? The Veep actress was spotted texting during her co-star Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ acceptance speech last night.

But was she really texting?

Twitter lit up with comments from people who just couldn’t believe that Chlumsky would bring her phone to the awards show. Those people, of course, probably aren’t fans of the show Veep.

Social News Daily notes that Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who won the best actress in a comedy series last night, took to the stage as her Veep character Selina Meyer. Tony Hale, who also won an Emmy last night, also appeared on stage as his character Gary Walsh.

Anna Chlumsky, who looked pretty amazing on the red carpet last night, was also in character when the camera cut to her sitting in the audience.

The Veep actress didn’t win her Emmy last night and some people thought that she was upset to see her co-stars winning their awards.

Of course, Chlumsky texting in the audience was actually just part of the sketch.
