Chris Hemsworth: Nude Scenes In ‘Rush’ ‘Daunting,’ But His Wife Enjoyed Them

For Chris Hemsworth, nude scenes in his new movie Rush are described as “daunting,” but that doesn’t mean his wife couldn’t enjoy them.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, in Rush Chris Hemsworth portrays racing legend James Hunt.

The story focuses on playboy James Hunt, who had a British racing rivalry with Austrian Niki Lauda, and one defining moment in his racing career. The 1976 season was considered quite dangerous and one of the two racing rivals almost dies.

But for Chris Hemsworth, nude scenes present another type of danger entirely:

“It was more daunting than the racing! To take your clothes off in front of 100 people and cameras was something I wasn’t comfortable with. To be honest, it was embarrassing.”

Chris Hemsworth’s nude scenes in Rush were the first time he’s ever had to go naked before the camera, with his muscular buttocks filling the big screen not once, but twice.

Speaking of which, Chris Hemsworth actually had to lose muscle from his role as Thor in order to portray the slim-looking James Hunt. Chris Hemsworth’s wife was pregnant during filming Rush but he remembers having “more symptoms of a pregnant woman than she did. I was hungry all the time and moody.”

Funnily enough, Chris Hemsworth’s wife seemed to enjoy the nude scenes:

“It was more uncomfortable for me to see than her. I think she enjoyed it.”
