HTML5 is getting serious, not only is the technology being shown off at every twist and turn, on Tuesday a new logo for the programming language was shown off and with it a new HTML5 T-Shirt.
Designed to slightly mimic the Superman symbol, the W3C organization behind the logo says it’s meant to be:
“Strong and true, resilient and universal as the markup you write. It shines as bright and as bold as the forward-thinking, dedicated web developers you are. It’s the standard’s standard, a pennant for progress.”
The view you see in the picture above is the front of the shirt, while the back carries the very geeky phrase, “I’ve seen the future It’s in my browser”.
Purchase an HTML5 shirt and the profits will go into the development of the HTML5 test suite.
