Did Antoine Dodson Really Pray The Gay Away That Quick? Viral Star Claims He’s A Dad-To-Be

So yesterday we learned that Antoine Dodson — the young man who (before his fabulous hair extensions) catapulted the phrase “hide yo’ kids, hide yo’ wives… ’cause they raping everybody out here” into the national lexicon — was going to be a dad.

The news of Antoine Dodson’s potential impending fatherhood was weird on a bunch of levels. First, Dodson was flamingly, unabashedly gay when we first met him not too long ago, and he wasn’t very famous all things considered, making it weird as newsworthy.

But for some reason, Dodson sassed his way into our hearts. It was considered a positive move for tolerance of opinion when the then openly gay Dodson made a video visibly drinking a Chick-Fil-A shake and saying the chain’s gay marriage stance didn’t matter to him — Dodson was one of very few gay people or allies taking such a position so openly.

Then not much later, Dodson renounced his own homosexuality, though not without some admitted struggle. While many ex-gays will say that they were “repaired” quickly, Dodson openly admitted to struggling with his homosexuality — but committed to having “a wife and family” so he could “multiply and raise and love my family that I create” as “a “True Hebrew Israelite descendant of Judah.”

Now Antoine Dodson has again confused the Twittersphere with the announcement that his unidentified “Queen” is, ostensibly, carrying his progeny and his conversion to straight is complete.

We have to hand it to Shea Graham, who sums up how we feel on this news:

Do you think Antoine Dodson’s newfound heterosexuality will stick if a baby is in the picture?
