Kidnapped Girl Found Alive In Georgia


A 14-year-old girl who was kidnapped earlier this week has been found alive in Georgia. Authorities report that that they have arrested two men for the abduction of.

Clayton County police chief Greg Porter said: “This is a good day for the Perez family, but more importantly for Ayvani. She is safe.”

According to Time Magazine, four men forcibly made their way into Ayvani’s home early on Tuesday morning. The men killed the family dog then demanded money and jewelry from the girl’s mother.

When she couldn’t pay, the men kidnapped the 14-year-old girl.

UPI reports that Jackson and Rodriguez demanded a $10,000 ransom for the girl’s return.

Police chief Porter identified two of the men as as Wildrego Jackson, 29, and Juan Alberto Rodriguez, 40. Jackson and Rodriguez are both currently in custody and police are now looking for two more suspects.

Police sketches have been released and are asking for the public’s help to catch Ayvani’s abductors.

Lt. Marc Richards with the Clayton County Police Department said: “We’ve been receiving numerous tips on various hotlines.”

The 14-year-old kidnapped girl was found just a few miles from her home. Authorities have not released details about the circumstances of the girl’s recovery but they did say that she appeared to be in “good condition.”

HLNTV has some more good news out of Georgia. According to the news station, the family dog survived the shooting.
