Snoop Lion won a pound of weed in a bet over the latest Floyd Mayweather fight.
Those of you who don't know who Snoop Lion is, he was once known as notorious gangsta rapper Snoop Doggy Dogg, a sort of sidekick with Dr. Dre. The two rose to fame almost hand in hand, making it publicly cool to smoke marijuana as their music suggested. Needless to say they were both involved in some legal problems along the way, most of which involved infamous drive-by shootings glorified in the music they performed.
As time passed, Calvin Broadus changed his name to Snoop Dogg and mainly started doing more cameos in other rappers' songs, but he's always been a big supporter of marijuana and the recreational smoking thereof. In recent months, he once again changed his stage name to Snoop Lion and began a career in reggae where he focuses more on children's music.
In the recent fight between Floyd Mayweather and Canelo Alvarez, Snoop Lion won a pound of weed off his friend and even posted a picture on Instagram to show it off. Indeed, the picture shows him wearing a Captain America T-shirt and holding up the biggest bag of marijuana anyone outside the dealer or grower industry has probably ever seen.
The garbage bag Snoop Lion is holding up is apparently full of Mexican marijuana he won from his friend Lui, and the former gansta rapper proudly stated, "Thanks to the champ money may for winning me a pound from my mexican buddy Lui!! U r the pound for pound best! N I'm gonna smoke 2 dat!!! Hahahahahahahah."

According to TMZ sources on the subject of marijuana, the bag that Snoop Lion is holding up in the picture is worth around $4,000. It is predicted that the reggae star has at least four months worth of the substance just in the picture.
