Mack Maine Charged With Sexual Battery

Mack Maine has been charged with sexual battery.

The New Orleans rapper was charged with two felony counts in Oklahoma after police said he assaulted a female fan and punched her friend in the face.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, police believe that the 31-year-old, whose real name is Jermaine Preyan, invited Rachel Reed and Cailey Maddox onto his tour bus last month. He then allegedly “put his hand down Rachel’s dress and grabbed her right breast.”

The documents say, “Rachel got upset and when she and Cailey tried to leave the bus, [Mack Maine] held the door shut.”

The documents continue, “Once the door was opened, Cailey was walking down the steps but turned and looked back to call for Rachel and [Mack] punched her in the face, breaking her jaw and knocking her down.”

The incident happened on August 22.

Oklahoma County District Attorney David Prater confirmed last month that Mack Maine would be charged with sexual battery and aggravated assault and battery.

“I can tell you for the record that we’ve authorized charges but none have been filed yet,” he said. “We’re waiting for the investigation to come over.”

So far, there is no word on when Mack Maine will appear in court.

Mack Maine formed a friendship with Lil Wayne when he was 11 years old. He became a founding member of Young Money Entertainment with his fellow New Orleans rapper in 2005. Mack Maine appeared on the official “Got Money” remix on Tha Carter III in 2008 and performed the song with Wayne on Saturday Night Live in September.

When Lil Wayne was hospitalized earlier this year for a seizure, Mack Maine told Twitter followers that he was alive and well.
