Wesley Snipes developing videogame from his prison cell

Although most ordinary convicts spend their days in prison digging a tunnel in the wall and covering it with posters of Racquel Welch, Wesley Snipes is different. Snipes, who was recently jailed until 2013 for tax evasion, is helping to make a videogame. Obviously.

Julius Styles: The International is based on a film that Snipes will shoot after his release in 2013, and is currently in development for the iPhone and iPad. After that, an Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, and Android version will follow. Says The Snipester:

Julius Styles will offer something for both the mind game strategist and the kick-ass special ops warrior lover. I love games that challenge my mind and reflexes. Julius Styles pits your street knowledge survival skills with your academic intellect and spiritual intuition.”

As if you could ever doubt Wesley’s words (has the man ever deceived anyone?), Joystiq points out the game is in the safe development hands of Lapland Studios, makers of Lead the Meerkats.

This will definitely end well.
