Tampa Woman Arrested For Dangling Baby From Balcony

A 25-year-old woman from Tampa Bay, Florida has been arrested after she posted a photograph of herself dangling her baby from her balcony. The woman, Aisha Jean Clark, apparently told police when they arrived at her house: “I can do what I want with my baby. Nobody can stop me.”

Clark’s friends contacted the authorities on Tuesday after they saw the image that she had posted to her Instagram account, which showed her dangling her baby over the balcony of her apartment’s 12 foot high balcony.

The Tampa Bay Times reported that, when police officers arrived at Clark’s apartment, they asked her if she knew why they were there. Clark reportedly laughed in the officers’ faces.

She allegedly then showed the officers her iPad with the image of her dangling her baby, telling the officers she did it because she was “mad” and was “making a point.”

When the officers tried to question her further, she said: “I don’t care, you get out of my face.” Clark’s neighbor and friend, who wished to remain anonymous, tried to stick up for her friend, saying: “She just made a mistake, man. She didn’t know it was going to get her in trouble like this.”

Clark remained at the Hillsborough County Jail and will be charged with carrying out actions that could have led to the serious physical harming of the baby.
