Newlywed Wife Jordan Linn Graham Charged With Pushing Husband Off Cliff

Jordan Linn Graham has been charged with the second degree murder of her husband Cody Lee Johnson. The 22-year-old woman allegedly pushed her husband off of a cliff at a national park just 8 days after their wedding.

Graham admitted to investigators that she killed her husband at Glacier National Park on July 7. The new bride said that she got into an argument with her husband and ended up pushing him off the cliff.

Cody was reported missing on July 8 and Jordan initially lied to investigators about his disappearance. Jordan said that Cody left in a friends car on the morning of July 7 and that she hadn’t seen him since.

A few days later Jordan told Park Rangers that she found Cody’s body at the bottom of the cliff. Jordan said that she found the body because it was a near one of Cody’s favorite places in the park.

Jordan said: “It was a place he wanted to see before he died… He would come up here with friends to drive fast when his friends were visiting from out of town.”

Investigators found it strange that Jordan had uncovered the body and decided to interview her again. This time Jordan admitted that she pushed her husband off of the cliff.

The affidavit reads: “Due to her anger, she pushed Johnson with both hands in the back, and as a result, he fell face first off the cliff.”

It’s unclear what Jordan Linn Graham and Cody Lee Johnson argued about before she pushed him off of the cliff but text messages uncovered by investigators show that the two were already experiencing marital troubles.

Jordan wrote in a text message to a friend: “I’m going to talk to him… But dead serious if u don’t hear from me at all again tonight, something happened.”

Graham appeared in court this week and was charged with second degree murder.
