‘Dumb And Dumber’ Sequel Starts Filming In Atlanta

The Dumb And Dumber sequel is finally underway in Atlanta.

Dumb And Dumber To hit a few road blocks over the last year, but it looks like the Farrelly brothers, Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are finally ready to get the cameras rolling.

Daniels said last month that filming would start in September and Carrey seemingly confirmed the news this weekend when he sent out a photo of his chipped tooth.

That might not mean much to the average movie goer, but it means a lot to a Dumb And Dumber fan. Basically, it means that Lloyd Christmas is back from the dead.

Jim Carrey chipped his tooth years ago and had the cap removed to play one of the stupidest characters to ever grace a movie screen. Carrey reportedly felt that it gave Christmas the “deranged look” he was going for.

IMDB writes: “Jim Carrey chipped his tooth years earlier, but had the cap removed for the film to make his character look more deranged.”

Well, Carrey has popped the cap off his tooth and is now getting back into the mindset of Lloyd Christmas.

In addition to the photo, the Farrelly brothers have also been laying praise on their two stars. Well, Jeff Daniels in particular.

Carrey said in an interview with Jimmy Fallon earlier this year: “It’ll be the 20th anniversary of the first one next year when it’s released. I’ve seen the script. It’s hysterical. We’re middle-aged. We’re not pretending we aren’t. We’re middle-aged and we’re still that stupid.”
