‘That’s So Raven’ Star Orlando Brown Sentenced To 180 Days

That’s So Raven star Orlando Brown is currently serving a 180-day sentence for a DUI that occurred way back in 2011.

Brown is currently two weeks into his sentence following one of the most drawn-out DUI cases we have ever reported.

Following a hearing last month, Brown was placed into police custody. The actor failed to show proof that he had completed court-ordered alcohol education classes.

While a district judge sentenced Orlando Brown to 180-days in jail, he is only expected to remain behind bars for 27 days. Brown will be released by September 19.

How Brown managed to stay out of jail for so long is beyond our understanding. The actor was only placed behind bars after four bench warrants were issued for his arrest.

The 25-year-old former child star is no stranger to arrests. In 2007, Brown was arrested for possession of marijuana, and then he went missing in 2008. In May of 2012, Brown was arrested for violating his probation, and then he was arrested three months later for failure to appear.

Orlando Brown can thank L.A. County jail overcrowding for his shorted jail sentence. Non-violent offenders are often released early in California because of prison congestion, which only continues to worsen.

For a show that has been off the air for a number of years, the That’s So Raven cast sure is making headlines lately. Show star Raven Simone recently announced that she is a lesbian. Her announcement took Twitter and Facebook by storm.
