Kristin Cavallari Still Rooting For Chicago Bears Despite Recent Arrest

Kristin Cavallari may not be the biggest fan of the city of Chicago at the moment but she’s still rooting for the Bears and her husband Jay Cutler to win during their first game of the NFL season.

Cavallari had a little run in with the law this week when she was pulled over for speeding in a Chicago suburb.

The traffic stop got a little complicated when the officer realized that Cavallari didn’t have a valid Illinois license. The Hills star still has a valid California license but Illinois law states that a person only has 90 days to transfer their license once they move into the state.

Cavallari was forced to go to the police station to post bail.

Cavallari vented her frustrations on Twitter, writing: “Who knew having a California drivers license in Illinois was a CRIME to be escorted to the police station to post bail?!! What a morning. FYI…I still have an apartment in LA so I’m a resident of California”

The former reality star may be a little annoyed with the city of Chicago but that hasn’t dampened her football spirits. Cavallari sent out a photo on Instagram today with the simple message: Go Bears.

This is a big year for Jay Cutler and he can use all the support he can get. Cutler is in the final year of his contract and will have to prove to new coach Mark Trestman that he’s worth an extension. Kristin Cavallari just uprooted herself from California this year to join Jay and their son Camden in Chicago and she’s excited to make the windy city her new home.

Well, maybe not excited. She still hasn’t even changed her license to Illinois. But I’m sure she still wants Jay Cutler to do well and earn a new contract.
