‘Pacific Rim’ Blu-Ray, DVD Hits Stores In October

Pacific Rim will hit Blu-Ray and DVD in mid October.

The Guillermo del Toro blockbuster that helped make this Summer awesome is on its way to stores next month. You will finally be able to catch the epic giant monster battles in high definition right in your own home, on Blu-Ray 3D, Blu-Ray, and DVD, with a plethora of special features.

Pacific Rim, if you didn’t know, is about monsters that crawl from the Pacific Ocean and invade all countries surrounding it, draining their natural resources. We end up building giant robots piloted by two people apiece, mechanical marvels called Jaegers, to fight off the alien menace we have named the Kaiju. Stacker Pentecost must make a hard decision about what pilots he will allow in the final scuffle, ending the alien menace once and for all. At least until the sequel…

The Blu-Ray 3D version of Pacific Rim will run you the suggested retail price of $64.99 and include the regular Blu-Ray and DVD, as well as UltraViolet HD so you can enjoy the film on mobile devices.

Pacific Rim on Blu-Ray will run you $35.99 suggested retail, and come with the DVD and UltraViolet HD copy. On DVD, the package will be basic and run you the suggested retail price of $29.98.
