Sarah Silverman Makes Fun Of Jonah Hill During James Franco Roast

Sarah Silverman took a few minutes during the recent Comedy Central roast of James Franco to poke a little fun at 21 Jump Street star Jonah Hill.

Folks who decide to show up for one of these celebrity roasts should prepare to have jokes lobbed in their general direction. Although Hill wasn’t the guest of honor at the event, this didn’t stop Silverman from having a laugh at his expense.

“Jonah actually gained 50 pounds for his role in the new Martin Scorsese film because the producers wanted the character to be a Jonah Hill type. But seriously you’ve had such a body transformation in the past couple of years. You have come a long way from just being Sonny and Cher’s daughter,” Silverman explained.

The actress added, “What Jonah lost in weight he gained in weight. Jonah, on a scale of one to ten, do you own a scale?”

Sarah Silverman also made a few quips about Seth Rogen’s marijuana habit. However, it didn’t take long for Jonah Hill’s name to get dragged into the joke.

“Right before the show started, Seth rolled a gigantic fatty. Because that’s the only way we could get Jonah on the stage,” the Wreck-It Ralph star remarked.

Since the Comedy Central roast centered around James Franco, Silverman took a few shots at the Spring Breakers star. Not surprisingly, he quips about the actor also centered around the guy’s sexuality.

“I don’t think James is gay or straight. It’s just that he literally can’t open his eyes enough to see who he’s f***ing,” Sarah Silverman joked.

When she isn’t goofing on Johan Hill or James Franco, the actress is staying busy with a few notable Hollywood projects. In addition to providing the voice of Ollie in the animated sitcom Bob’s Burgers, she’s set to star Seth MacFarlane’s upcoming comedy A Million Ways to Die in the West.
