Twerking Could Earn You A $50,000 College Scholarship From Juicy J

Who ever said that “twerking” is a useless skill clearly hasn’t heard of the “twerking” scholarship program.

Last week, Three 6 Mafia rapper Juicy J tweeted that he’s willing to hand a $50,000 scholarship over to “the best chick who can twerk.”

Juicy J wasn’t very specific about the scholarship. It’s unclear whether a hopeful female contestant has to be the best at twerking or simply the best girl who can also twerk. In any case, Juicy J’s tweet was deleted before he could specify, leaving twerk-capable women looking for a way to pay for college presumably crestfallen.

But wait! The twerking scholarship is real after all!

Juicy J has partnered with Worldstarhiphop.com to launch the “Juicy J Scholarship Foundation” competition. Okay, it’s backdoor promotion for his Stay Trippy album, but Juicy J is actually going to give his female fans an opportunity to win a $50,000 scholarship to their school.

The rules are simple. The competition is open to any woman between 18 and 25 currently enrolled in a 2 or 4 year accredited college or university.

To enter, you must post YouTube videos set to Juicy J’s “Scholarship” (off Stay Trippy) explaining why you deserve the prize. You’ll be judged on your assets and creativity.

According to the press release, Juicy J’s twerking scholarship is “out of the kindness of his heart.” Of course, there are some who are already criticizing the twerking scholarship. You can listen to one such disgruntled parent below, and then let us know what you think in the comments.
