Tim Tebow: Patriots Quarterback Job More Likely After Giants Game?

The latest Tim Tebow news seems to say Tim Tebow’s quarterback job is more likely after throwing two touchdowns during last night’s Giants game.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, the Patriots owner endorsed Tim Tebow but his spot on the play roster is still not guaranteed for this coming football season.

The final preseason Patriots game against the Giants is another endorsement, where Tim Tebow landed a second touchdown during the final six seconds of the game, winning 28 to 20.

When Patriots coach Bill Belichick was asked about making Tim Tebow the Patriots quarterback he only would say, ”Whatever we do will be whatever we think is in the best interest of this football team, the 2013 team, whatever that is at any position.” Tim Tebow was his usual humble self, telling reporters his plans were simple:

”Go to sleep when I get home, wake up, come work out, watch the film,. See what I did good, see what I did bad, try to learn from it and get better.”

Before this game Tim Tebow’s performance as Patriots quarterback wasn’t so hot. Tim Tebow threw some interceptions, ending his throwing game for negative yardage. But he made up the yardage with his running game although he was also sacked four times.

Les Carpenter of Yahoo Sports says Tim Tebow deserves a spot on the Patriots roster. While Carpenter calls Tim Tebow the “most confounding quarterback in the NFL” he also says Tim Tebow’s “moments of effectiveness make him worth the roster spot.”

Tim Tebow also says he’s not worried whether he’ll be cut from the Patriots due to the peace he finds in God:

“I’m blessed, because of my faith, that I don’t have to worry about the future because I know who holds my future. It’s something I try to live by. It really gives you a lot of peace in whatever circumstance I’m in.”

Do you think Tim Tebow deserves a Patriots quarterback job?
