Taylor Swift Tells Harry Styles To ‘Shut The F*** Up’ At VMAs [Video]

Taylor Swift might be regretting her little outburst at ex Harry Styles of One Direction during Sunday night’s MTV VMAs. The camera caught her less than kind remark when Harry was on stage with his band members making an acceptance speech. She clearly says, “Shut the f*** up.” to her pal Selena Gomez.

But was the slight intended towards Harry or the band in general? It’s hard to tell. She was clearly not pleased.

Taylor, who was on screen a lot during the broadcast, was seen having a good time, singing to Justin Timberlake’s performance and cheering on Miley Cyrus, but she was obviously not happy when she had to look at her ex boyfriend from the front row.

The fact that Taylor Swift dated one of the most eligible bachelors, Harry Styles, member of the British boy band One Direction can make things awkward at times.

Last night was one of those times.

Taylor was sitting next to pal Selena Gomez and the cameras saw the two frequently chit-chatting and whispering things in each other’s ears, like the normal young women they seem to be.

There is always interest when Swift and Styles are at the same event together. We knew this was going to happen since they were both nominated for awards and Taylor was a presenter.

Would they talk? Would they be nice to each other? Would they give each other nasty looks? Are just some of the questions on people’s minds.

So when One Direction and Styles came on stage, all eyes were on Taylor so we could see her reaction. Well the video says it all, she wasn’t too pleased to see her ex and said so to Selena, “(Harry) shut the f*** up!” How irritating.

She actually seemed to single her ex boyfriend out in her own acceptance speech. Many suspect Harry is the subject of her award winning song I Knew You Were Trouble.

“I also want thank the person who inspired this song, who knows exactly who he is, because now I got one of these!” Taylor said while acceoting her VMA Moonman award as the camera focused on Styles’ shocked face.

The Taylor Swift/Harry Styles drama continues and we can expect more such incidents like the one at the VMAs. Hopefully Taylor will learn to restrain herself, since Harry has been very diplomatic when asked about his ex publicly.
