Miley Cyrus Raps On ’23’ By Mike WiLL Made It, And It’s Not Bad

Miley Cyrus’ rap on a verse of Mike WiLL Made It’s debut single “23” with Wiz khalifa and Juicy J has hit the Internet, and you’re either going to love it or hate it.

The Atlanta rapper co-wrote and produced Cyrus’ chart and YouTube slayer “We Can’t Stop.”

Now she has returned in kind with a cameo that will get people talking if nothing else.

Mike teased the rap on Sway Calloway’s “Sway in the Morning” SiriusXM radio show. While he was there he revealed some interesting details about it shaped in the studio. The super-producer said the twerking loving songstress had to convince him she had the goods to pull off the rap.

Mike said he guided Cyrus initially with her delivery. “For that I had to school her — ‘Yo, you gotta be in these pockets. You gotta ride the beat like this,’” he recalled, but said the verse was all hers in the end.

“Man, I see her smoke purp and all that,” the producer said of the 20-year-old star, adding, “We helped out, but at the end of the day it’s all truth.”

“23,” a celebration of Jordans, contains drug references. Cyrus’ rap lyrics:

I’m in the club high on Perc with some shades on / Tank up, mini skirt with some J’s on, I be in the club standing on the couch / In the wolf greys like it’s my house / (I’m home!) / Breakin’ out the bottle / I got no respect / Actin’ like a model who just got a check / I back it up / Because I don’t give a f— / If you’re lame that’s a shame / You can’t hang with us / I’m M.C. Hammer fly / You can’t touch / (Nope!) / J’s so fly / I should work at Flight Club / Put on my J’s / Dance the whole night away / I’m Naughty By Nature / Like I’m hip-hop hooray / Hangs in the sky / I wave ’em from side to side / Feet on the floor / I’m ’bout to turn up now.”

It remains to be seen how Cyrus will go over with hardcore rap enthusiasts. But there’s no denying Mike has effectively ramped up anticipation for the full drop of “23” on August 26.

Verdict time folks, yay or nay?
