‘Moesha’ Star Marcus T. Paulk Arrested After Kicking Girlfriend In Stomach [Report]

Moesha star Marcus T. Paulk was arrested after allegedly kicking his girlfriend in the stomach and putting her in the hospital.

The 26-year-old turned himself in at a Los Angeles jail Thursday evening and was placed under arrest, according to TMZ.

The alleged victim, singer Andi Roxx, said the fight started at Confidential, a nightclub in Beverly Hills. Roxx said she and Paulk got into an argument because she wasn’t paying enough attention to him. When they got home, she said Paulk punched her in the chin. Roxx fought back and busted open Paulk’s lip. She said he then punched her in the stomach and told her to get her stuff and leave. Roxx also said that Paulk kicked her in the stomach.

Roxx said she went to the hospital with internal injuries. Police responded to the hospital shortly afterward, and Roxx told them what happened between her and Paulk. Police contacted Paulk, and he and his attorney arranged for him to turn himself in.

Marcus T. Paulk played Moesha Mitchell’s (Brandy) little brother Myles on the UPN series from 1996 until 2001. Like many of the sitcoms at that time, the series dealt with teenage social issues such as drug use, race relations, and premarital sex and teen pregnancy. The series also had a number of celebrity guest stars, including Boyz II Men, Lil’ Kim, Sinbad, Kobe Bryant, and DMX.

Moesha also spawned a spinoff, The Parkers, which starred Mo’Nique and Countess Vaughn as Nikki and Kim Parker. Several Moesha cast members, including Paulk and Brandy, made crossover appearances on the show.

Marcus T. Paulk also appeared in the 2005 film Roll Bounce with Bow Wow, and the 2006 film Take the Lead with Antonio Banderas. He also appeared in Red Tails as David “Deke” Watkins. Paulk also provided the voice of Myron Lewinski in the Disney animated series The Proud Family.
