‘South Park: The Stick Of Truth’ Is Set To Keep The Laughs Rolling

South Park: The Stick of Truth will keep you laughing all the way, as revealed at Gamescom 2013.

If there is a reason why South Park will never die as a TV show, it’s because the humor never seems to fade. Not for the squeamish, the humor of South Park goes for the throat every time. The show will gross you out and offend you if it’ll get a laugh out of someone in the end, and its fans love that about it.

When it came to making a South Park role-playing game, the developers decided to let you make a “new kid” and take on a cross between the show and a medieval cosplayer’s dream. The elementary school is divided into two factions; the humans, and the elves. Cartman has taken command of the humans, as Kyle has done likewise with the elves. There is a civil war involving the sacred and powerful “stick of truth,” the most powerful weapon in the game. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, one of your forms of magic is the ability to fart forever

Gamescom 2013 showed off some portions of South Park: The Stick of Truth, and the audience found it hysterical, even after the game has been in development all this time. It looks like developer Obsidian Entertainment is trying their hardest to ensure that this game will keep you laughing no matter how much you play.

Between the blatant cluelessness of the residents of South Park and the outrageous comments made almost regularly by Cartman, South Park: The Stick of Truth will keep you having as much fun as you want to have.

There is a portion in the game where your “new kid,” Cartman, and Butters walk into a place called “The Giggling Donkey” to seek the advice of a bard. The sequence continues as all hell breaks loose and then Cartman is seen pouring ketchup in his mouth as he lies on the floor, and then letting it run out of his mouth to symbolize a death scene for the unbelievably naïve citizens of South Park.

South Park: The Stick of Truth will do everything it can to keep you laughing.
