Beyoncé Relaxes In Brazil, Makes Annoyingly Gorgeous Video While There

Beyoncé doesn’t tour Brazil until September, but that hasn’t stopped the stadium slayer from taking a short break before her next Mrs. Carter Show Latin leg or from making a gorgeous video while there.

The 31-year-old also posted a slew of snaps from her South American trip to her Tumblr account.

The singer usually posts pictures to her account in real time. If so, it means the bob is no more as Bey is seen wearing long hair extensions in the most recent snaps. But it’s also possible these are older photos that have only just been uploaded.

Among them, husband and rap mogul Jay Z is seen, as is 18-month-old daughter Blue Ivy. There are also shots of Brazilian street dancers, landscapes, footprints, and — er — ice-cream.

The video is a promotional tease for Beyoncé’s Brazil dates, of which there are five including Rio De Janeiro.

Shot in black and white with bossa nova song “The Girl From Ipanema” playing in the background, the mother-of-one looks suitably Fellini-inspired in a 50’s styled bikini as she wanders on a beach.

After splashing about in the sea and a close-up of the global icon in a hammock, on-screen words announce (in Italian): “Beyoncé invites you to join her on her next adventure filmed on location in the marvelous Brazil.”

The singer is then seen tracing the word “Brazil” and “Blue” in the sand, which seems fairly self-explanatory.

After wowing crowds last week at the UK’s V Festival, despite boos when she took to the stage 25 minutes late, the Houston native’s next show is in Philadelphia at the end of August.

From there, Latin America beckons in September, New Zealand and Australia in October, before a stateside return and concerts throughout November, wrapping at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on December 22.

Beyoncé is certainly putting in the air miles this year, so we guess we can’t begrudge her enjoying an exotic break in between hoofing.

But does she have to look so great doing it?
