Anna Kendrick GQ Shoot: Star Encourages Drinking On First Date

Anna Kendrick has revealed the details of her perfect first date during a photo-shoot with GQ magazine.

The 28-year-old actress stripped down to just a back bra and blazer during her interview with the publication, which was the perfect blend of quirky, intimate, and amusing.

Kendrick, who has starred in the likes of Twilight and Up In The Air, discussed the topic of first dates, remarking, “If sex is off the table, and you’re like, ‘Let’s try to get to know each other,’ I would recommend drinking. Highly.”

Kendrick also revealed that she has been approached by fans for autographs wile she is purchasing underwear. The star joked, “There’s something deeply embarrassing about being approached when you’re holding knickers and it’s happened twice!”

She also revealed that she likes “every single Belgian-style beer” when quizzed about her favorite tipple. However, after she was informed that according to OKCupid’s data system beer fans are more likely to go home with someone on a first date, she remarked, “Oh my! I mean, correlation doesn’t suggest causality – but that is f****** interesting.”

Kendrick recently split her her boyfriend of four years, Edgar Wright. The actress started dating the filmmaker after they met on the set of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.

She has since been linked to Chace Crawford after she worked with the actor in What To Expect When You’re Expecting. However, it has since emerged that they are simply friends.

Earlier this year Anna Kendrick’s song Cups was nominated at the Teen Choice Awards 2013 for the Choice Single: Female Artist category.

Anna was shocked by the song’s popularity, which originally appeared in her movie, Pitch Perfect, and resided in the top 10 chart on Billboard for several weeks.

At the time Kendrick remarked, “How I feel about having a song in the billboard top ten for five weeks. #ItDefiesLogic.”
