JWoww And Snooki Allowed At Pelican Island, Judge Rules

The ban has been lifted. A Ocean County Superious Court judge ruled this week that he won’t stop JWoww and Snooki from filming their reality show at a house on Pelican Island.

Berkely Township tried to have the MTV show banned from the neighborhood, fearing that Snooki & JWoww would bring chaos to the city that was ravaged by Superstorm Sandy.

But a judge ruled today that he wouldn’t ban the reality stars from coming to Pelican Island.

Still, attorney Ron Gasiorowski is hoping that he can get MTV out of his neighborhood. Gasiorowski and other residents at Pelican Island believe that the production is violating the town’s zoning ordinance. Philly.com reports that the owner of the hose has filed an application for a variance once they found out that the house is meant for residential use only.

A judge has not issued a ruling about the zoning permits yet.

Jwoww and Snooki haven’t been welcomed with open arms at Pelican Island but one neighbor says that the reality stars, as well as the MTV crew, have been very friendly while in the neighborhood.

Rocco Vita said: “The people are very nice. The guys that do security are very friendly. The actors themselves say hello and I have a 15-year-old daughter getting a kick out of it.”
