Olivia Wilde, Jason Sudeikis Could Have Killed David Blaine [Video]

Olivia Wilde has revealed that she had to opportunity to kill David Blaine, alongside her fiance, Jason Sudeikis, after the magician performed some tricks for the pair at their house.

The actress made the revelation when she appeared on Monday’s Late Show, stating that the infamous illusionist came over to her abode and did some magic for the pair for an upcoming special that he is currently shooting.

However, Blaine asked Sudeikis and Wilde to participate in a trick that could have had serious repercussions if it had gone wrong, which they turned down.

Wilde told David Letterman, “He wanted us to hold him underwater for 15 minutes. The best was, he said, ‘It doesn’t matter if I’m thrashing, if I’m begging for my life, you can’t let me up. You just have to hold me down.’ I just don’t want that responsibility.”

Wilde then added, “I didn’t do it because then they asked how many minutes it would take to get to the local emergency room and how long it would take a Medevac helicopter to get to my house, and I was like, this just seems like a bad idea.”

The 29-year-old actress revealed that Blaine simply “showed up” at the house she shares with comedian, Sudeikis, and then stayed there for almost 7 hours which she was totally fine with.

Wilde confirmed, “He stayed for, like, six-and-a-half hours. It was amazing. It was like being at the best kids’ birthday party ever because the magic just keeps blowing your mind.”

Wilde can be seen in her new movie, Drinking Buddies, which is released on Friday and stars Jake Johnson, Anna Kendrick, and Ron Livingston, while Sudeikis is currently starring in We’re The Millers, which features Jennifer Aniston, Emma Roberts, and Will Poulter.
