Amanda Bynes Checks Into UCLA Medical Center For Additional Treatment

Amanda Bynes was recently transferred to the UCLA Medical Center’s psychiatric facility. It’s believed that the troubled actress will continue receiving treatment at the new location.

According to various reports, the Easy A star was transferred to the facility in a black SUV on Thursday. This is the first time Bynes has traveled since being placed on a 5150 hold in California last month.

TMZ claims that an individual identified as Amanda Bynes was spotted leaving the Hillmont Psychiatric Center earlier this week. Although photographs of the actress were taken, a white blanket blocked her face from view. She appeared to be wearing a blue hat or wig at the time of the transfer.

The actress hit rock bottom after she reportedly set fire to a random driveway in a Los Angeles neighborhood. Witnesses spotted Bynes trying to put out a fire on her leg shortly after she started the blaze. It’s also believed that she may have splashed gasoline on her dog during the incident.

A judge agreed that Amanda Bynes is completely out of control for the moment. As a result of her behavior, the actress was placed under two temporary conservatorships.

The mental health conservatorship will require the former What I Like About You star to remain under state supervision while she receives treatment. She will stay under medical care until the first week of September at the very least.

Bynes was also placed on probate conservatorship until the end of September. This gives her mother complete control of her finances for the time being. Lynn Bynes can also dictate where her daughter lives once she is discharged from the psychiatric facility.

No one from the actress’ camp has responded to these reports as of this writing.
