Lindsay Lohan Starts Her Very Own Website

Lindsay Lohan is looking to reconnect with her fans by launching her very own website. The troubled actress kicked things off by thanking her fans for support.

Say what you will about the actress’ stories past, but it appears that she’s trying to make a difference. However, it remains to be seen if Lohan can keep this forward momentum going.

“To my fans: Welcome to my new site. Your support has been everything. I’m so excited for what’s next,” the Mean Girls star wrote.

It’s clear from the tone of the website that Lindsay Lohan is focused on the positive aspects of her career at the moment. Not only does she have an eight-part series lined up on OWN, she also received plenty of kudos for her performance in the HBO comedy Eastbound and Down.

“With every cadence and nuance in Lindsay’s career, her capacity to keep the public on its toes, guessing, and intrigued has been a key ingredient to her one-of-a-kind journey and fame. Poised for an epic return to the spotlight, undoubtedly all eyes will be locked on Lindsay,” her bio reads.

Lindsay Lohan is also using the site to promote her upcoming interview with Oprah Winfrey. The actress included a promo spot for the episode of Oprah’s Next Chapter that airs this Sunday (August 18). There’s also a new trailer for her recent big-screen endeavor The Canyons.

“Kanye re-cut the trailer for my movie The Canyons and added original music! Leave it to him to add his twist. Love!” the actress wrote in response to the clip.

Digging through the website will give fans plenty to do while they’re waiting for Oprah’s interview with Lohan to air. The former daytime talk show host doesn’t appear to be holding anything back.

What do you think about Lindsay Lohan’s new website? Do you feel this proves that the troubled actress is interested in getting back on her feet?
