Lindsay Lohan Lands First Post-Rehab Acting Role [Video]

Lindsay Lohan is already back to work after leaving rehab, doing a few interviews, and hanging out with Shaq.

The Mean Girls star is now sober after completing a court-mandated 90-day treatment at Cliffside Malibu Rehab Center in California, and was right back to work just one day after her July 30 release.

She started with a guest-host spot for Chelsea Handler’s late night TV talk show, and completed an extensive interview with Oprah Winfrey for her “Oprah’s Next Chapter” series on OWN.

Now, the 27-year-old actress has grabbed her first acting role. She’ll return to the small screen for a guest spot on Danny McBride’s critically acclaimed comedy series Eastbound & Down.

HBO execs confirmed to E! News that Lohan will indeed guest star on the show’s upcoming fourth and final season.

Sources say that Lohan will play the daughter of one of the show’s main characters, and that she will be part of a wedding scene set years into the future. No other details were available except that she apparently plays the bride in the scene.

That might explain the curly, flowing locks Lohan sported in one of her recent Instagram posts, which announced that she was returning to work (though it didn’t specify what she was doing).

Eastbound & Down‘s final, eight-episode season premieres Sept. 29. Speaking of eight-episode seasons, Lohan also has an 8-part docu-drama coming out that will be based on her attempts to stay sober and make another career comeback. That program will air exclusively on OWN.

Are you a fan of Lindsay Lohan? Do you think that she can make sobriety stick this time?
