‘Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag’ Stealth Experience Walkthrough Arrives [Video]

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag now has a walkthrough explaining stealth experience.

Desmond Miles will be back as Edward Kenway, a British pirate and grandfather to Assassin’s Creed III’s Connor, though this one isn’t making you play as Desmond. In the game, you will be given the chance to re-visit the gameplay from Assassin’s Creed II as well as take a ship to new islands and practice stealth missions where you gain experience with the various weapons. Ubisoft is pushing for the next-gen versions of the game to really show us the detail and dynamics of the sea and what people expect the Caribbean to look like, no doubt thanks to Disney’s movie series starring Johnny Depp.

Yes, you will be playing as a pirate in the Caribbean. Let the pirate jokes and one-liners commence.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will have a new dynamic when it comes to diving. You won’t have your clothes or weapons with you, so you’ll need to rely on stealth to pull it off. You will have an authentic diving belt, so you won’t be completely unprepared as you take to the water. When you find a new cave you will be forced to find and kill a guard and take his weapons without being seen. Once you have the weapon, you can use it to kill as many of the other guards as you are able to, and stealth will play a major role.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will also bring back the assassination missions to earn extra money in cities that bring the rooftop parkour back from the second game. Of course, the second game’s style will also be revisited with explorable tombs this time around, giving gamers more to do instead of just following the storyline.

As revealed in the video above, one of the new ways to kill guards at a distance is to use explosive barrels as they close in on them, much like most first-person shooters. You will be given cash bonuses for taking out Templars without being seen, so once again, stealth is key.

You can also upgrade the weapons you have, meaning that you might never need to use a different weapon, except for diving missions of course. Even then you can still just take a guard’s weapon and kill them with it.
