‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ Comic-Con Footage Finds Its Way Online [Video]

Comic-Con footage from Guardians of the Galaxy has somehow found its way online.

If you’ve been searching everyone for a good look at James Gunn’s adaptation of Marvel’s comic book, then you currently have a chance to check out the goods. Like the footage from X-Men: Days of Future Past that popped up today (August 12), you may have to act fast.

The Guardians of the Galaxy clip is only 30 seconds long, but packs an impressive punch. Even the small screen and fuzzy video does little to dilute the teaser’s impact. It also ends on a surprisingly hilarious note, something I hadn’t anticipated.

Since the footage is rapidly cut, you’ll have to watch the clip two or three times in order to soak it all in. I managed to catch glimpses of Zoe Saldana, Chris Pratt, and Dave Bautista during my viewings, though I’m sure I’m missing more than a few characters.

Guardians of the Galaxy fans will also get to see Rocket Raccoon in action. The Usual Suspects line-up at the end is a nice touch as well, particularly since Hooked on a Feeling is playing over the footage. James Gunn’s sense of humor appears to be intact.

The film tells the story of a several intergalactic peacekeepers who team up to take down a villain that threatens to destroy everything in existence. Marvel Studios has yet to unveil an official synopsis for the upcoming adventure.

In addition to Saldana, Pratt, and Bautista, Guardians of the Galaxy stars Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, Benicio del Toro, John C. Reilly, and Glenn Close. There’s also a rumor going around that Vin Diesel could join the cast as Groot. Nothing about his involvement has been confirmed just yet.

What do you think about the leaked footage from Guardians of the Galaxy?
