Are you interested in spending even more money on the superhero brawler Injustice: Gods Among Us? You’ll have a chance to do just that in a few short days.
NetherRealm Studios is looking to milk as much money from fans of the acclaimed brawler as they possibly can. If you recently dropped a few bucks to snatch the Martian Manhunter DLC, then you’ll want to start saving your pennies all over again.
The folks behind Injustice: Gods Among Us are set to release the Zatanna DLC at some point next week. Not only will fans get a brand new playable character, they’ll also receive the Cyborg Superman skin at no additional cost. The package will set players back around $4.99.
Zatanna joins an already robust cast of characters. Currently included in the batch are Batman, Cyborg, Harley Quinn, Nightwing, Deathstroke, Solomon Grundy, Superman, Lex Luthor, The Flash, Green Arrow, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Bane, Catwoman, Shazam, Black Adam, Raven, the Joker, Doomsday, Killer Frost, Ares, Lobo, Batgirl, General Zod, and the recently-added Martian Manhunter.
Injustice: Gods Among Us turned out to be a very fruitful collaboration between NetherRealm Studios, DC Entertainment, and writers Justin Gray and Jimmy Palmiotti. Warner Bros. Interactive said earlier this year that the game should be the first entry in a new franchise.
Fans of the fighting game genre currently have a number of quality titles at their disposable. If throwing down against comic book characters isn’t your thing, then you can always check out Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate when it drops later this year. Another version of Street Fighter IV is also looming on the horizon.
Here’s some gameplay footage featuring the latest addition to the Injustice roster.

Injustice: Gods Among Us is currently available for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Wii U. Are you planning to get the new Zatanna DLC when it drops next week?
