Blackberry Torch Price Drop, Now Just $99 At AT&T Wireless

The Blackberry Torch has just received a price cut from AT&T which makes it one of the most competitively priced higher end Smartphones currently available on the market.

The new cost of just $99.99 with a two-year commitment may be a sign that Research In Motion (makers of the Blackberry line) are attempting to keep their fading corporate base on the hook, this week I reported that Dell decided to move their 24,000+ employee base to Windows Phone 7 devices, while other company’s have also begun to jump ship.

Blackberry Torch users can choose between the newly announced red/black phones (pictured above) or the Blackberry standard black/charcoal design.

With the Blackberry 6 OS installed on the phones (one of the very few Blackberry phones to offer the new OS), along with a full touchscreen and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard the $100 cost is well worth a closer look if it’s time for you to update your phone or if you’re looking to move your contract over to AT&T Wireless from another carrier.
