John Stamos To Take Teenage Amputee To Disneyland
Kaitlyn Dobrow has been having a pretty rough couple of months. The teenager has been in the hospital since February suffering from a deadly bacterial infection. In an effort to cheer her up, John Stamos will bringing the 19-year-old on a date to Disneyland.
Stamos recently posted a picture of himself with Dobrow in the hospital and said that the two of them were planning a trip to Disneyland.
Stamos writes on Twitter: “I’m ONLY (posting this photo) cause they asked. I said no press. but this story is a must read- plus me and katie have a date to Disneyland.”
ABC reports that doctors were force to amputate Dobrow’s limbs in order to save her life. She is now recovering and her mother is trying to raise money for her rehab. The site has already raised close to $80,000 and has received attention from celebrities like John Stamos.
Dobros mother said: “Kaitlynn has had an amazingly positive and courageous attitude throughout this illness and is determined to have a happy, fulfilling life, believing that God has an awesome plan for her future. She is my hero.”
