Amber Tamblyn Joins ‘Two And A Half Men’ As Charlie Sheen’s Bisexual Daughter

Amber Tamblyn is heading to Two And A Half Men.

The actress will join the hit CBS show for a five episode run. The character, Charlie Harper’s long-lost lesbian daughter, could then become a series regular.

Two And A Half Men has gone through plenty of casting changes in recent years but CBS has managed to keep a large audience for the hit show. Charlie Sheen famously left the show (he was replaced by Ashton Kutcher) and Angus T. Jones recently announced that he was also leaving.

Amber Tamblyn will fill the void left by Jones and creator Chuck Lorre says that the show won’t lose a step. Lorre said that Tamblyn’s character will bring a little bit of Charlie Harper back to the show.

Lorre said: “The character as we know her now as she only exists on the page, is a pretty remarkably strong and ballsy character… The idea that she loves women seems to be something that just felt right.”

Tamblyn may be bringing the attitude of a familiar character back to the show but Lorre said that the actress will also bring something else: A female perspective.

Two And A Half Men, as the title implies, centers around the three (OK, two and a half) men. Lorre isn’t ready to change the name of the show but he did say that he was excited to have a female character.

Lorre said: I think it would be great to have a voice on the show from a different perspective. The show has had enough testosterone to last a lifetime.”

Do you think Amber Tamblyn will be good on Two And A Half Men?
