Kardashian Ex-Stepmother Sues Family For Defamation

The Kardashian sisters ex-stepmother, Ellen Kardashian, is suing her former stepdaughters and their mother Kris Jenner for defamation.

Ellen Kardashian, nee Pearson, is also suing Ryan Seacrest Productions, and claims that the girls and the producers of Keeping Up With The Kardashians attempted to involve her in a recent plot line on the reality series. The suit alleges that a private investigator attempted to sell information he had on the Kardashians to her in order to make her look like a villain on the show. She said she refused to buy the information.

Kardashian then went on to say that the family defamed her on the show anyway, saying that she only married the late Robert Kardashian for his money. Kardashian calls Jenner a “manipulative and devious mother and ex-wife who simply used and exploited her children.” She is suing for unspecified damages.

Earlier this year, Robert Kardashian’s journal surfaced. In it, he wrote that Jenner threatened to kill an 8-year-old Kim. In another entry, he wrote that Jenner abandoned the kids to have an affair with former tennis star Todd Waterman. He said she didn’t even leave a number in case of emergency.

On Christmas Day 1989, Kardashian wrote that he was “home alone with 4 kids” because “Kris couldn’t get her act together” to be with the family.

Ellen Kardashian said the journal was authentic, and that Robert gave it to her before he died in 2003. The Kardashians denied the allegation in the journal, calling them “ridiculous and not true.” Khloe Kardashian called her “trash” and said she married Robert “on his deathbed while he was not even aware of his surroundings.” Ellen Kardashian said she was stating their father’s truth, and that she was only the messenger.

“They are my property at the disposal of whatever I so choose,” she said. “Robert would have no problem with that.”
