Monster Drives Job Finding Further With Success Story Board

Employment website Monster.com is helping drive job finding with a new success board that helps motivate job seekers in a post GFC world.

Monster Success stories aims to encourage hope and optimism through social sharing of successful job search stories, and through practical advice from those who have found jobs using Monster.

Monster users are encouraged to share their stories, and better still, every submitter is eligible to win one of six prize packages for their effort.

Monster’s Chief Marking Officer Ted Gilvar writes:

“There’s a misperception that job seekers are sacrificing the opportunity to pursue a career that leverages their passion and skills as a result of a challenging job market. Success Stories demonstrates
that our precision matching technology innovation is helping people find their calling.”

The first prize round is for submissions by November 8, with a subsequent round running from November 9 through December 6, 2010. Note, that each round includes the chance to win one of six prize packages.

With unemployment remaining high, any effort to help job seekers find employment should be and is welcome.

Monster.com is one of the largest employment websites in the world, owned and operated by Monster Worldwide, Inc. Monster is one of the 20 most visited websites out of 100 million worldwide, according to comScore.
