Beyoncé biked to her final show at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Monday night, otherwise known as the house that Jay Z partly built.
The 31-year-old went apparently unrecognized by anyone else as those stomping, hard-working legs cycled her across Brooklyn Bridge
At once proving her ‘I’m still ordinary’ credentials and simultaneously getting an aerobic workout in before her Mrs. Carter Show concert, the lady who can do it all posted the four instagram pictures of her bike ride to her account, with the caption:
“I biked to Barclays for my last show in Brooklyn!”
Her journey, echoes hubby Jay Z’s subway ride to his final Barclays Center concert last October, but in our humble opinion goes several notches better.
Once at the Center, Beyoncé reportedly took absolute control of the 19-000 capacity arena and brought the house down.
Romping through her single-heavy set with substantial mining of her 2011 album 4 thrown in, the Houston native was joined by Jay Z onstage in an appearance that surprised the sold-out crowd.
The 43-year-old rapper-hip hop mogul took to the stage during his wife’s performance of “Bow Down,” before rapturing the crowd with a rendition of “Tom Ford” a cut off his latest album Magna Carta Holy Grail.
As for Beyoncé, she took a load off and sat on stage while he did his thing, before sashaying over for the song’s close.
The power couple embraced before Jay Z got out of stage dodge, and the main attraction carried on.
At one point in the concert, the bootylicious one reporetdly wore a Brooklyn Nets foam finger for part of one song, delighting the crowd.
The twosome later partied together at SoHo House for a triumphant after-party.
She then returns stateside for one date and a short break before hitting Latin America, Australia and New Zealand.
Probably not on a bike though.
