Chris Colfer: Returning To Glee Will Be Really Hard

Chris Colfer admits that stepping back into the role of Kurt Hummel on the hit Fox TV series Glee won’t be easy.

The members of Glee are starting to return for work less than one month after show star Cory Monteith died from a drug overdose.

Hummel was recently spotted in New York City promoting his second novel in his The Land Of Stories series. During the promotion of The Enchantress Returns, Chris admitted that returning to the show would be hard.

Colfer told Entertainment Weekly Radio:

“We’ve had bumps and dips along the road over the course of the years, but nothing like this.”

The actor then added:

“I know we’ve always come together – always – in the past, because we are such a family in the cast and the crew.”

Chris Colfer says he is trying to stay positive but admits that it will be “very different” and “difficult at first.”

The cast and crew of Glee recently gathered for a private memorial service for their deceased co-star.

Fox TV also released a touching, albeit short, memorial video following the actor’s death:

It will be interesting to see how Fox handles Cory Monteith’s death on the show given his sudden departure.

Do you think Glee can continue to wow its fans with Monteith no longer assuming his role on the show?
