Jodie Sweetin: I’m Not Checked Into Rehab, I Work There

Jodie Sweetin has been going to rehab every day for some time now, but she says it’s not for treatment.

The Full House star, who has struggled with a meth addiction in the past, said she is now working as a clinical logistics coordinator at a rehab center in Los Angeles. There had been rumors that Sweetin was once again checked into rehab, but the former child star said her employer has been letting her live in a studio apartment on the property during her split from husband Morty Coyle.

Jodie Sweetin contacted TMZ Live, implying that Coyle might be the one who started the rehab rumor.

“Breakups are hard and certain people [her husband] don’t make them easier,” she said. “People get weird and stalkerish… You never really know someone until you break up with them.”

Sweetin has been open about her struggles with addiction, writing a memoir published in November about her Full House days in which she also detailed her past with drugs and alcohol.

The 31-year-old Sweetin filed for divorce last month, citing irreconcilable differences. She also asked for full custody of their child Beatrix, who is two years old, and for the couple’s 2000 Toyota Avalon. Jodie also asked that she and her husband split their $200 Kohl’s credit card balance.

Sweeting announced the split to her Twitter followers shortly afterward.

She wrote:

“Thank you to everyone for being kind and supportive… I really appreciate all the fan love. Life can have it’s challenges, for sure!”

After getting engaged on Jodie’s birthday in 2011, the two were married in a private ceremony in March 2012.

Jodie Sweetin has been married twice before, including marrying a Los Angeles police officer when she was just 20. The couple was married four years, splitting in 2006. She later met Cody Herpin, a film transportation coordinator. They were married for close to a year before divorcing in 2008.
