Teri Hatcher: Desperate Housewives Movie Would Be Great

Teri Hatcher would love to see a Desperate Housewives movie.

But that doesn’t mean that it’s going to happen. Hatcher was talking to Extra this week when she acknowledged that fans would love to see a movie. Hatcher added that there wasn’t anything in the works in the moment but that she would definitely read a script if it ever came across his desk.

Hatcher, who played Susan Meyer on the hit show, said that she really hopes to see a Desperate Housewives movie one day.

Hatcher said: “I love the fans of the show so much, and they don’t seem to be done with those characters. I think it would be great for them. If a script ever came across my lap, I would read it, hoping that it would work out, but I don’t really see that happening.”

Desperate Housewives ended in 2012 but Hatcher has found plenty of work since then. In addition to a few Funny Or Die skits, Hatcher has also appeared on the television shows Jane By Design and Jake And The Neverland Pirates. She also voiced Dottie in the new movie Planes.

The actress is also starting to focus more on her love life. Hatcher, who has a 15-year-old daughter, said that she is open to the idea of finding a new boyfriend.

Hatcher said: “What I want to do is share all this great experience… it would be really fun to share it with someone special. I have a window that’s more open than it used to be, and I imagine that someone will come in it.”
