Report: Beyonce, Jay-Z expecting first child together
Pop star Beyonce and her rapper husband Jay-Z are reportedly expecting their first child, for real this time.
Us Weekly started this round of Beyonce pregnancy rumors, and cites a “source of the singer” to confirm the news:
“B was shocked. She loves kids, but she wasn’t ready to be a mother just yet,” says a source of the singer, who married rapper Jay-Z in 2008. “She really wanted to get her album done and tour the world again.”
Still, another insider says that the singer, who is in her first trimester, realizes that “this is a gift from God and she’s so happy.”
Rumors that Beyonce is pregnant have surfaced intermittently since the couple began dating, most recently in March of this year. The couple married back in 2008, and dated for six years prior to their wedding. Both Beyonce and Jay-Z are notoriously quiet about their relationship, but Beyonce did confirm to Allure magazine back in August that the couple would like to have a baby at some point.
