National Cheesecake Day, Freebies Abound [Deals]

So, it’s National Cheesecake Day today, July 30 — and as with every national day of (insert food here, here being our face holes), everyone wants to know one thing. What can we get for free or cheap in celebration?

As expected, National Cheesecake Day is first and foremost being promoted by the first place that might come to mind… The Cheesecake Factory.

In a sea of mediocrity and chain dining littering the American mallscape, we have to admit that a National Cheesecake Day Cheesecake Factory inducement is something that isn’t really going to go over all that poorly, given their unusually high standard of shopping center-attached dining.

And the namesake eatery is certainly doing their part to get the word out about National Cheesecake Day, hitting Facebook and Twitter hard with an offer for cheesecake fans nationwide.

The social network has been buzzing with National Cheesecake Day fanfare, and the restaurant was out of the gate reminding fans that any slice of their not too inexpensive but worth it cheesecake is half off today:

“The BIG day is here! Facebook fans, try our new cheesecake a day early with this sweet offer! Who wants s’more? Come back tomorrow to enjoy another slice for half price & celebrate ?#?NationalCheesecakeDay?!”
