Lana Del Rey Criticizes Lady Gaga In New Song, So Legit

A Lana Del Rey song has appeared online, entitled “So Legit,” and it appears to feature lyrics that criticize Lady Gaga.

Del Rey’s representatives have yet to confirm whether or not the track is either an old demo, leaked new track, or from the period when the singer performed under her real name, Lizzy Grant, but the lyrics do appear to poke fun at the “Poker Face” singer.

Del Rey sings, “You’re looking like a man, you’re talking like a baby, How the f*** is your song in a Coke commercial, crazy? Stefani, you suck, I know you’re selling 20 million, wish they could have seen you when we booed you off in Williamsburg.”

She then added, “What happened to Brooklyn, what happened to our scene, baby? Have we all gone Gaga crazy? Remember when the streets used to be dangerous and we were born bad, And we were born bad?”

Del Rey continues her assault later in the song, proclaiming, “Oh, girl, I see you walking round in your pearls, thinking that you’re number one, you’re son funny, cos honey, you’re not.”

Clearly, Del Rey is attacking Lady Gaga in this song, and now the latter’s fans, who are known as “Little Monsters” have been quick to condemn the “Blue Jeans” singer for her taunts.

@AftonHolte posted, “@LanaDelRey, I am no longer a fan. Sounds like someone is extremely jealous of the queen @ladygaga.” This was then followed up by a hashtag that read, pathetic.

Other fans have been quick to praise the singer though, with @njmaxrod stating, “So Lana Del Rey put out a Lady Gaga diss track. And to think I thought I couldn’t like her more than I did.” Neither artist has commented on the ordeal yet.

Who do you prefer, Lady Gaga or Lana Del Rey?
