Jennifer Lawrence Geeks Out In Front Of Jeff ‘The Schmude’ Bridges

Don’t you just love Jennifer Lawrence?

The Hunger Games star gave an interview at Comic-Con 2013 with Extra during which she talked about Catching Fire, the upcoming sequel to the hit franchise, but it was her fangirl reaction in the presence of legendary actor Jeff Bridges that made us fall in love with her all over again.

Described as the “biggest nerd at Comic-Con” by Extra’s Ben Lyons, Lawrence stopped for a moment to talk about her next film.

“I think the stakes are a lot higher,” she said, explaining that new director Francis Lawrence brings a “new, fresh take” on the film compared to that of the previous installment’s director Gary Ross.

Later, during Lyons’ interview with iconic actor Jeff Bridges, Lawrence was spotted on one side with an absolutely flushed expression, in awe of his presence. She ran up to him but changed her mind last minute and fled.

She then came back after the two exchanged waves, and Bridges’ interviewer turned the microphone over to Lawrence so she could ask a few questions.

After she gushed about what a huge fan she is, she asked Bridges what his favorite character is that he ever played, asking if the character’s name rhymes with “The Schmude.”

Instead, Bridges took a moment to plug director Scott Cooper’s latest film, Out of the Furnace, an upcoming thriller starring Christian Bale and Casey Affleck.

Cooper and Bridges collaborated on the critically acclaimed 2009 film Crazy Heart.

They exchanged pleasantries, and Jennifer Lawrence proved once again what a down-to-earth 22-year-old she really is.
