Who says open source can’t do awesome animation [Video]


The 12 minute animated short film Sintel was initiated by the Blender Foundation as a way to promote the use of the free and open sourced 3D creation suite called Blender. The initial funding for the short came from 1,000’s of donations and once more proves that this model can work to help in the independent animation film business.

Not to mention the fact that this is really good short film.
