Royal Baby Photos: Kate Middleton Introduces Baby Boy To The World [Video]


Fans of Kate Middleton and Prince William got their first glimpse of the Royal Baby today.

The Duchess of Cambridge, who delivered her first son yesterday at St. Mary’s Hospital in London, emerged today with the Royal Baby in her arms. Middleton and Prince William briefly talked addressed the media as photographers snapped pictures of the baby boy.

William said: “It’s very special. I’ll remind him of his tardiness when he’s a bit older. He has got a good pair of lungs on him, I can tell you that… We are still working on a name.”

William added that the little boy was lucky that he “got (Kate’s) good looks.”

After the brief introduction, the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William went back inside the hospital to fetch the rest of their belongings. They returned a short time later with the royal baby strapped into a car seat before they drove off to Kensington Palace.

Charles and Camilla also briefly commented on their grandson, saying “he’s doing marvelous.”

Carole Middleton added: “He’s absolutely beautiful.”

The CBC reports that Kate Middleton and Prince William still haven’t decided on a name, at least not publicly, but the new baby will have the title “His Royal Highness Prince (insert name) of Cambridge.”

The palace issued a statement on behalf of the royal couple, saying: “We would like to thank the staff at the Lindo Wing and the whole hospital for the tremendous care the three of us have received. We know it has been a very busy period for the hospital and we would like to thank everyone — staff, patients and visitors — for their understanding during this time.”
