Kevin Hart Sued By Nightclub: He Ditched Us To Party With Dwyane Wade

Funnyman Kevin Hart is being sued by a nightclub after he ditched a scheduled performance. According to the nightclub’s owner, Hart ditched his hosting gig so he could party with Dwyane Wade at ANOTHER club!

Cameo Nightclub filed the lawsuit against Hart and his manager.

According to the club’s lawsuit, Kevin Hart agreed to host at the club on June 22. At the last minute, Hart backed up, instead choosing to visit the competing Dream Nightclub. Hart chose the other club because Wade and his fellow Miami Heat players were celebrating their NBA championship victory.

Also in attendance at the Dream Nightclub part was BET’s Terrence J.

Camero nightclub says that in preparation for Kevin Hart’s appearance it spent $4,680 on promotional materials. The nightclub is suing Kevin Hart for $15,000. The club is asking for three times what it spent due to a damaged reputation.

Oddly enough, Kevin Hart’s rep says they believed the issue was resolved. Kevin had rescheduled his gig at the nightclub for last night, July 22.

This isn’t the first trouble Hart has ran into in 2013. In April, the comedian was arrested and charged with a DUI.

In the meantime, there appears to be no stopping Hart. The comedian landed at 95 out of 100 on Forbes’ list of top earning entertainers. The comedian’s stand up movie Let Me Explain is also now the fourth top-grossing stand up film of all time.

Do you think Kevin Hart should pay for ditching his agreed upon gig at the Cameo Nightclub, or did his make-up hosting gig resolve the issue?
