Tish Cyrus And Billy Ray Call Off Divorce, Again!

Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus, the parents of actress and recording artist Miley Cyrus, announced that they are staying together and not divorcing.

The long time couple, who have so far enjoyed 19 years of married life, announced back in June that they intended to divorce. On Saturday Tish Cyrus posted an Instagram reading “date night.”

Speaking to People, the couple released the following joint statement:

“We both woke up and realized we love each other and decided we want to stay together. We both went into couples therapy something we haven’t done in 22 years of being together, and it’s brought us closer together and really opened up our communication in amazing ways. Tish also said marriage can be really hard especially after 22 years of being in entertainment. We’ve had rough times but we both realized we didn’t want to be another statistic and wanted to make it work.”

Back in 2010 the rocky couple made a similar announcement as reported back then by etonline.com.

Billy Ray dropped his file for divorce back in March 2011 when he said in The View recorded at the time: “I want to put my family back together — Things are the best they’ve ever been,”

For her part Tish Cyrus filed for divorce this time round on June 13 but has also dropped the filing.
